    Description

1970 Altec Lansing Model 911A AM FM Stereo Receiver Turntable Music System. All-in-one system (Altec Lansing called them "component centers") in nice walnut enclosure with brushed/matte aluminum controls and illuminated dial. Working, with some issues. All controls present and generally functional. With original smoked grey acrylic cover, with no cracks, and some minor scratches and wear. The AM/FM tuner works, and both left and right speaker channels are working. Balance, bass, treble and loudness are all working, level meter, etc. The dial illumination is working.
    Following need repair or adjustment:
The Garrard turntable works intermittently. The controls don't work properly. Once you give the turntable a nudge, it plays LPs at the correct speed. I assume the turntable needs cleaning and/or a new belt.
One connector on one set of speaker connections is broken. The other set of speaker connections work correctly. (See photos)
With original manuals for the system and the turntable.
    Sold as-is.
