Description
Columbia Records sold a line of phonographs and hi-fi equipment, beginning around 1907 with the Grafanola and continuing into the 1960's. In the early 1950's it introduced a line of phonographs and accessories to accompany it's new 33 1/3 RPM discs. This tuner was part of that initial lineup, mostly manufactured by Stromberg-Carlson. Although I can find no data whatsoever about it (even if it was actually manufactured or distributed), I estimate its vintage as 1953 or so. A very rare piece of Hi-Fi history here. Shipped postpaid to U.S. addresses. Additional postage elsewhere. Thanks for looking!COLUMBIA AM/FM TUNER 8" x 10" glossy photo early 1950's vintage hi-fi
