Dynaco Stereo Vacuum Tube FM Tuner Model FM-3

Description

This is an extremely clean FM-3 with 2 minor issues: (1) small ding on the top of the face panel just above 'Tuner.'  (2) Incorrect bottom cover. Has a cover from an FM-1 tuner. It is in good condition, fits, and you won't see it often anyway.
The circuitry looks to be all original. The 5 tubes I inspected (including two 12AX7) are all original Dynaco made by Mullard in West Germany. I brought the tuner up to operating voltage with my Variac, attached a rabbit-ear antenna, and searched for stations. I was surprised that the tuning indicator showed so many stations using just a rabbit-ear in my basement shop. I did not hook it to an amp but there is no reason to think there could be an audio problem.
As you can see from my photos, it is exceptionally clean inside and out. The two knobs could use cleaning but that's about it. No rust or corrosion visible. Even the cover screws are original!
Due to its age I am unable to warrant it. I will stand behind my description.
