    Description

    One Hitachi FT-5500 MkII capacitor & de-emphasis/buffer upgrade kit.  This home-made passive de-emphasis & buffer IC is designed by the guys at fmtunerinfo.com and will turn your average sounding tuner into a top notch tuner.  I had nothing to do with the design fmtunerinfo guys get all credit the schematic is available online.  I made only two spares to share with non-technical tinkerers. You will be surprised in the sound difference.

    Audio grade capacitors for the audio path
    Pair of ceramic capacitors
    1 daughter board and mounting hardware
    Instructions
    You will need solder iron, solder, solder wick to remove a few parts, super glue, & philips screwdriver.
