    Description

    Marantz Model 105 Tuner, #2 Also Aligned. I started out with blowing out any dust. I pulled the face plate and washed it and the covers. The dial was removed, and the light diffuser paper was renewed with art grade acid free paper which will not yellow. New dial and indicator bulbs were installed but not the dial pointer bulb although it still works. The pushbutton switches were treated with DeOxitD5 along with the tuner bearings. Then I did a full alignment to improve the sensitivity on AM and FM and adjustments to minimize distortion and maximize the stereo separation. It operates within spec now.
    The original connectors for the FM antenna were broken so I installed 3mm screws and washers. These are not hard to use if your antenna has spade lug connectors.
    Unit was run at least 48 hours straight with no issues.
    This unit was owned by a Vietnam vet who sadly was a victim of Covid. Although I have a low feedback count, it is because I had to start a business seller account after having used "randygeek57" since 2009 - message me there and Ican confirm this for you.
