McIntosh MR78 Stereo FM Tuner

An excellent example of an all original, and in very good working condition McIntosh MR78 FM tuner.
I am the second owner of this wonderful tuner. The previous owner was a dentist that had it on 1 station in his office, I was fortunate enough to get my hands on it and have enjoyed it since 2005.
I have a nice copy of the original owners manual that will come with tuner, not pictures.
The only wear I can see is that the glass is a little dusty on the inside, the wood cabinet has a few minor nicks and scratches. The brass metal screen on top of the cabinet has some minor tarnish and the inputs seem to have some minor oxidation – Everything about this unit is working very well. Please look at the pictures to get an idea of just how good of condition this radio is in, please notice that all the lights are working, the radio filters are working, the knobs are rock-solid and the lettering on the unit itself looks brand new! As the saying goes, they don't build them like this anymore!
The cabinet shows a few scratches on top and a little wear on the corners – with a little polish it will look just fine!

I am posting as local pickup because I am worried about the face glass breaking during shipping - again, everything in this unit is original and I want to keep it that way, it's a true vintage treasure and sounds wonderful!
