Vintage Audiophile Updated Sansui TU-719 Digital Quartz Locked Tuner, 8/10 EXC..
Only reason for sale is I am downsizing and this outstanding 1979 Sansui Digital Quartz Locked Tuner is in outstanding condition. It was completely gone through several years ago to include caps, alignment and several hotrodded mods done to this tuner. It is great for DXng or just listening to great music. It is very alive and has great soundstage and separation for a vintage tuner.  The professional FM broadcast engineer who did the mod was very well known but is now retired.  This model of Sansui rates in the top 10 of all FM tuners from the Vintage era IMHO.  I have owned other Sansui, Mitsubishi DAF-20, Magnum DynaLabs, several McIntosh, Denon, Yamaha, & Sony and this is the very best I have experienced. My favorite FM stations are blocked by a mountain south of me and I am 25 miles North of Tucson AZ. so I cannot hear as much as I used to. This outstanding Tuner has many great listening years left in it and I hope the next owner is as happy as I have been. A true delight.
