Pictured and up for sale is this Pioneer TX-6500II AM/FM Stereo Tuner. This unit hails from the mid '70s (1977 to 1979) and retailed at 0. It sports an attractive brushed aluminum faceplate and a big-ole tuning knob. Comes as pictured; sorry, no manual or original boxes.
The power supply has been recapped with UPW high temp Nichicon caps. I normally take before and after pictures but this was such a quick job with only four caps, that I simply forgot. Old caps are included in the package.
Condition -
This tuner is working just as it should in every way. It pulls and holds stations very well. Cosmetically there are a few faceplate defects which can be seen in the last two pictures. There are also a couple of very light scratches to the metal cabinet. A very presentable unit at over 40 years old.
