Vintage R200 Fisher Tubed tuner. 1963 Completely Rebuilt To Spec! NICE-No Rust.

This original Fisher R200 tuner was totally and properly rebuilt by a Tech with 40 years of experience who was also an Electrical engineer. No short cuts! All new high quality caps, rebuilt Stereo Multiplex, new better than original rectifier and all tubes tested to very strong spec. Original scripted cord very good, brass colored caps some excellent reproduction. No rust that I can see. Dial brightly lit, no obvious scratches, all lettering intact. Not mint, but nice, especially under normal lighting, not the harsh light used for these photos.
All functions seem to work as intended. I was able to compare the performance of this Tuner to the very highly regarded Fisher FM 1000. The difference was slight using a cheap dipole antenna in my basement. The R200 shares the excellent Stereo Multiplex (True stereo), as well as some other components with the FM 1000. Sound quality is glorious! Stations come in strong and plentiful, I live in Northern Mn. The Tuner was properly aligned, the Multiplex adjusted.
