    Description

Up for sale is a Yamaha T-7 AM-FM tuner, with 5AM and 5FM presets, with Motor Drive, original memory battery that holds a charge, AM stand up antenna that replaces the one that snaps on the back and L&R audio cable plus operational manual. This is a European Model with Dual AC Voltage selection! This belonged to a retired broadcast engineer. More Tuners on the way soon! When I turned it on, I noticed that the memory preset s were still operational. Knowing the unit has an internal battery to keep the memory backed up, I opened it up and noticed it had the original battery still installed. The DC voltage was down from 1.2 volts to .3 volts. I let the unit charge the battery and after about 4 hours it was up to a healthy 1.33 Volts, normal for a 1.2 volt Ni-Cad battery. I am sure this battery will need to be replaced sometime in the future! The adjustable volume control located below the front panel turns smoothly with no scratch or intermittent sound. The Sensitivity and selectivity is very good. Audio quality was nice as well. Overall cosmetic condition is clean with a few scratches on the sharp corner edges as shown in the below pictures. Small Smudge right above power switch. Displays very nicely! I tried to capture in my video the center tune indicator changing intensity as you tune to the left and right of center tune, but it just did not show up clearly in the video. Remember that when you touch the tuning knob it activates the AFC control. I tried to capture that better in the below pictures. Occasionally the tuning will slip during manual tuning or preset tuning. In the video everything worked as it should. But occasionally it will slip. The Motor drive belt wheel looks to be very clean and the dial string is night and tight, see below picture. All other functional buttons work as they should.
